On exactly how old this retro celery salt is. It looks to be from somewhere around 1970. Mmmmm. Apparently this is not a frequently used item. I also think it doesn't go bad. It smelled okay anyway, but what do you really use celery salt for anyway.
I'm in need of some recipes, any suggestions Timmy?

Really bad suburban coleslaw. And it won't go bad, it really just bitter (celery) salt, kind of like luktefisk, it is bad and can't get worse. Or you could put it in deviled eggs, potato salad with hard boiled eggs, chicken salad...anything I won't eat is great!
I know a certain sister of yours gave us a dressing recipe that called for it. :)
nice so I'll tell Janice to plan a vintage barbeque since it looks like she can make all this stuff (and a salad for the dressing maybe with some lettuce that has gone to seed?). Only people with stomachs of steel can eat there though....
Celery salt is an ingredient of Bloody Marys. Is there any vintage vodka or tomato juice hanging around?
funny you should ask, there's a HUGE container of tomato juice that no one will drink in the cabinet.....
If it hasn't been opened yet (I do have my limits), I'll use it for Bloody Marys. You have to drink them, too, though.
