I was innocently making a salad and looked for a salad dressing, without fish, to use. I pulled out this dressing and was taking the paper label off the top to unscrew the cap when I noticed that the expiration date was November 14, 2005.
The taste isn't stellar, it's more vinegar than red wine but it'll do in a pinch.

It's a vinaigrette? Does vinegar ever go bad? But it could also make a tasty marinade! If you had made a real vintage salad, you know with wilted greens from Janice's other refrigerator full of last years bounty, then maybe...
It's possible I just didn't like it although I used to eat it and like it. However, I convinced a certain someone it wasn't expired and they had no complaints which makes me think it was just me. If they find out I'll have my eyes clawed out though. Sssssshhhhhhhh ;)
